Santa Domenica is a beautiful coastal town in the province of Vibo Valentia, in the region of Calabria, Italy. It is part of the municipality of Ricadi, which is famous for its stunning beaches and natural scenery. Santa Domenica is located on the southern tip of the Costa degli Dei, also known as the Coast of the Gods, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Santa Domenica has a rich history and culture, dating back to ancient times. It was once a Greek colony called Thalos, and later became part of the Roman Empire. The town has many archaeological remains, such as temples, mosaics, and inscriptions. Santa Domenica also has a charming church dedicated to San Giuseppe, which holds a festival every July.
