One of them is Penne a charming town in the Abruzzo region of Italy, located on the hills between the Apennine Mountains and the Adriatic Sea. It has a rich and varied history, dating back to the Neolithic period and influenced by the Vestini, the Romans, the Lombards, the Sicilians and the Spanish. Penne is known as the “city of bricks” for its distinctive red brick buildings and streets, which give it a warm and cosy atmosphere.
