The walk takes place in Sant’Agnello, a charming coastal town on the Sorrento Peninsula overlooking the Bay of Naples. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, beautiful sea views, citrus groves, and elegant villas, Sant’Agnello offers a quieter alternative to nearby Sorrento while retaining the character and beauty of the Amalfi Coast region. The route begins along Corso Italia, the town’s main thoroughfare, and reaches the Chiesa dei Santi Prisco ed Agnello in Piazza Sant’Agnello, an important religious and historical landmark dedicated to the town’s patron saints. Continuing along Via A. Balsamo and Viale dei Pini, the walk passes residential areas characterized by gardens, pine trees, and traditional Mediterranean architecture. The route then follows Via Nuovo Rione Cappuccini and Corso Marion Crawford, named after the writer who lived in the area. Passing through Piazzetta Marinella, visitors can enjoy views toward the coastline before continuing along Via Cocumella.
